Tell Adam how the part will be made. A useful review connects a measured feature to an applicable manufacturing rule and a practical change.

Provide process context

Include the CAD file and revision, units, material, process, expected quantity, and supplier guidance. If you only have an image, Adam can identify visible concerns, but dimensional findings need geometry or supplied measurements. Use the supplier’s limits when available. A general guideline does not establish the capability of a particular machine, tool, mold, or material.

Request a measured review

Review a machined enclosure base

Turn findings into a design change

Address a specific manufacturing finding
For assembly review, include neighboring parts and the intended assembly sequence. A part in isolation cannot establish tool access or a complete clearance stack.

What the report should contain

Ask for the reviewed revision, process assumptions, measured findings, rule sources, proposed actions, and checks that remain unavailable. Use pass/fail only where the measured value can be compared with a relevant requirement; qualitative concerns should remain review items. If a change affects strength or stiffness, follow with structural analysis. For fit variation, use Tolerance analysis.
